Private Family in Penn Valley, PA Seeking a Live-In Nanny

Position: Live-In Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–10:30 AM and 3:00 PM–7:30 PM, plus a few hours one weekend day depending on Mom's work schedule
Salary: $1,200–$1,400/week
Start Date: January 1st
Relocation: Open to discussion

About the Family

• Children: 4-year-old boy and a baby due in February
• Home: Private bedroom with its own bathroom provided
• Household Staff: Weekly deep cleaners; a Newborn Care Specialist will be joining the family when the baby arrives
• Transportation: Family vehicle provided for all work-related driving

Responsibilities

• Help the 4-year-old get ready in the morning and drive him to school
• Pick him up from school and take him to the park, playdates, and other fun activities
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Assist with bath time and bedtime routines
• Assist Mom with the baby
• Run errands and help keep the home tidy and organized
• Assist with children's laundry and light household laundry
• Work a few hours one weekend day based on Mom's schedule as a doctor
• Enjoy a break during the day between morning and afternoon responsibilities

Requirements

• Must have prior infant care experience
• Experience caring for preschool-aged children
• Strong swimming skills, as the family has a pool
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable assisting with both childcare and light household duties
• Flexibility to work a few hours on one weekend day
• Strong references and a long-term commitment
