  • Position: Part-Time, Short-Term
  • Schedule: Project Based. 1-4 weeks. Work done M-F between 9a-3:30pm. 
  • Salary: $40-45/hour depending on experience
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Relocation: No – local candidates only

About the Family

The loving Elm Grove family is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Household Manager to provide project-based organizational support within their home following a recent remodel. Primary responsibilities include reorganizing and maximizing the functionality of closets, garage spaces, and basement storage areas to create streamlined, efficient, and sustainable systems throughout the home. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing organizational projects of similar scope and complexity and possess a strong eye for space optimization, functionality, and household flow.

This is anticipated to be a short-term project lasting approximately 1–4 weeks; however, if mutually agreeable, the family is open to transitioning the role into an ongoing long-term maintenance position averaging approximately 6 hours per week. Compensation is $40/hour.

The Household Manager should be comfortable conducting an initial walkthrough of the home, assessing the project scope, developing a proposed organizational strategy, and providing the family with a realistic timeline for completion. The candidate should also be able to identify any recommended resources, systems, containers, or materials needed to execute the project successfully.

Candidates must have prior hands-on experience with home organization and household management projects and be able to provide professional references that specifically speak to their success in organizational restructuring, project execution, efficiency, and attention to detail.
