HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRESS

Overview
A fully staffed UHNW household in West London is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Laundress to join their established team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a candidate with exceptional laundry expertise and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards within a structured, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties

• General cleaning, tidying, and organization throughout the residence
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
• Ensure all areas of the home are consistently well-maintained

Laundry & Wardrobe Management

• Full laundry care including washing, ironing, and steaming
• Expert handling of delicate fabrics and haute couture garments
• Wardrobe organization and ongoing garment management
• Ensure all clothing is maintained and returned in pristine condition

Team Collaboration

• Work as part of a large, established housekeeping team
• Follow household procedures and maintain consistency in standards
• Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Schedule & Working Hours

• 50 hours per week
• 5 days per week (rota basis, including weekends)
• Shifts typically: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Breaks throughout the day
• Staff meals provided

Candidate Profile

• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experienced in high-level laundry and garment care
• Professional, discreet, and reliable
• Team-oriented with experience working within structured households
• Adaptable and flexible to changing household needs

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in UHNW private households
• Proven expertise in laundry and wardrobe management
• Experience handling delicate fabrics and designer clothing
• Fluent English preferred (Russian a strong advantage)
• Comfortable working on a rota schedule within a team

Compensation & Benefits

• £40,000 – £55,000 per annum (DOE)
• Staff meals provided
• Start date: ASAP
