Senior Chauffeur / Security Driver — Chelsea, London

Overview

A Middle Eastern UHNW family based in Chelsea is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chauffeur with security driving experience to provide safe, discreet transportation and light close protection support. This is a prestigious role serving a prominent principal with a dynamic London schedule and access to an exceptional fleet of luxury vehicles.

The family spends approximately six months per year in London, during which time the chauffeur will play a key role in ensuring seamless daily movement, security awareness, and impeccable vehicle presentation.

Fleet Responsibility

• Rolls-Royce Phantom
• Mercedes-Maybach S-Class
• Range Rover Autobiography
• Porsche Cayenne

Primary driving will be for the principal using the Rolls-Royce and Maybach.

Responsibilities

Driving & Transport

• Provide safe, smooth, and discreet transportation for the principal and his wife
• Manage daily travel between Chelsea residence, Mayfair office, and central London engagements
• Handle regular airport transfers (Heathrow, Farnborough, Biggin Hill)
• Coordinate closely with the family’s PA on schedules and logistics

Security & Awareness

• Conduct basic advance security assessments for regular routes and venues
• Maintain situational awareness and proactively identify potential risks
• Provide light close protection support as needed

Fleet Management

• Maintain all vehicles to concours-level presentation standards
• Coordinate regular detailing and servicing (including external specialists)
• Manage documentation including insurance, MOT, road tax, and congestion charges
• Oversee general upkeep and readiness of the full vehicle fleet

Off-Season Duties (When Family Is Abroad)

• Oversee fleet maintenance and servicing schedules
• Conduct property security checks
• Ensure vehicles and systems remain in optimal condition

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a private chauffeur, including UHNW exposure
• Advanced driving qualification (RoSPA Gold or equivalent)
• SIA Close Protection licence or formal security driving training preferred
• Full clean UK driving licence and valid PCO licence
• Experience driving high-end and/or armoured vehicles
• Strong knowledge of London, surrounding areas, and all major airports/FBOs
• Cultural awareness and experience working with Middle Eastern families
• Enhanced DBS check and impeccable references
• Calm, professional, and highly discreet demeanor

• £45,000–£55,000 annual salary (with performance review)
