This is a senior-level role requiring strong leadership, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage a large, fully staffed household across multiple locations.
The Riyadh residence is a substantial, architecturally significant villa within a gated compound, supported by a team of nine staff. The London property is a three-bedroom apartment used seasonally. The household includes four children and regularly hosts both intimate gatherings and large-scale entertaining.
The position will be based primarily in Riyadh (approximately nine months per year), with the remaining time spent in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of both residences, ensuring consistently high standards of presentation and service
- Manage and lead household staff, including housekeepers, drivers, and kitchen support
- Coordinate all entertaining and events, ranging from small family dinners to formal receptions of 40+ guests
- Maintain household standards in line with the principal’s expectations, particularly in collaboration with the lady of the house
- Manage household budgets, expenses, and monthly financial reporting
- Oversee maintenance programs and ensure all properties are well maintained
- Coordinate travel logistics between residences in partnership with the family’s PA
- Manage inventories, procurement, and household supplies
- Ensure seamless operation across both properties, adapting to seasonal transitions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a House Manager within UHNW households
- Experience managing teams of 8 or more staff across multiple properties
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern culture, customs, and hospitality standards
- Proven experience coordinating formal entertaining for large groups (up to 50 guests)
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and expense tracking
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is highly advantageous
- Willingness to be based primarily in Riyadh with regular time in London
- Demonstrated discretion with impeccable references
Compensation and Benefits
- £60,000–£70,000 annual salary (tax-free in Saudi Arabia)
- Furnished private accommodation in both Riyadh and London
- Annual return business-class flights to home country
- Comprehensive international health insurance
- 30 days paid annual leave plus Saudi and UK public holidays
- End-of-service gratuity in accordance with Saudi labor law
- Discretionary annual performance bonus
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned House Manager to take on a high-responsibility role within a sophisticated, international household.
