Personal Assistant / Butler

Overview

A polished, highly service-oriented Rotational Personal Assistant / Butler is sought to support high-profile Principals based in South Florida, with responsibilities extending across multiple residences and frequent travel. This is a hands-on position requiring direct daily interaction with the Principals and close coordination with household, nanny, culinary, travel, aviation, maritime, security, and facilities teams.

This role combines elevated butler service with operational household support. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and able to anticipate needs while delivering seamless service in a fast-paced private environment. Fly-in/fly-out or relocation options will be considered based on the candidate’s situation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal support, including wardrobe management, packing, inventory upkeep, errands, and special projects
• Maintain kitchens, pantries, and overall household organization across all residences
• Execute both formal and informal meal service in coordination with culinary staff
• Prepare homes for guests and entertaining, including table settings, décor, and vendor coordination
• Manage all travel logistics, including packing wardrobes, documents, gear, medications, and tracking luggage
• Travel ahead of the family to prepare residences, ensure proper stocking, test systems, and confirm readiness
• Pack and unpack for the Principals both at home and during travel
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and local teams to maintain service standards
• Communicate real-time schedule updates across all household departments
• Maintain detailed preference logs for Principals and guests
• Provide occasional support to the nanny team as needed
• Assist with pet care and management of sports and lifestyle equipment
• Serve as an after-hours point of contact on a rotational basis
• Partner closely with the Head of Household to ensure continuity and alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in private service, luxury hospitality, or UHNW households
• Strong service mindset with flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Solutions-oriented with the ability to navigate change calmly and efficiently
• Background in butler service, yachting, or formal hospitality preferred
• Experience supporting multi-property, travel-intensive households strongly preferred
• Valid U.S. passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel
• Absolute discretion and commitment to confidentiality
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and rotational on-call coverage
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (including booster)
• Highly organized, proactive, and composed under pressure
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Location: Miami-based with global travel
• Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (fly-in/fly-out option available)

Compensation and Benefits

• $160,000–$200,000 annually, depending on experience
