Full-Time Nanny – Upper East Side

Overview

An active family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their two boys, ages 6 and 3. This role is ideal for a hands-on, energetic caregiver who enjoys engaging with active children and supporting their development through play, structure, and creativity.

The family is looking for someone who can foster a fun, organized environment—balancing outdoor play, sports, and imaginative activities with consistent routines and age-appropriate responsibilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional mornings, evenings, or weekends with advance notice. This is an immediate hire with a focus on a long-term fit.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for both children
• Manage school pickups and after-school routines, including smooth transitions home
• Engage in active play, including sports, outdoor activities, and physical games
• Plan and lead creative activities such as arts and crafts and imaginative play
• Support homework and learning as the children grow
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks
• Handle children’s laundry and maintain organization of their spaces
• Perform light child-related cleaning and tidying
• Maintain a structured yet enjoyable daily routine
• Assist with occasional extended hours, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Travel with the family during school breaks or summer months if desired

Qualifications

• Experience caring for multiple young children
• Energetic, hands-on, and engaging caregiving style
• Ability to balance structure, discipline, and play
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach
• Comfortable supporting school-aged children with routines and homework
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive
• Warm, positive, and team-oriented

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Fluent in English
• Spanish language skills are a plus
• Comfortable caring for two active children
• Driving experience is a plus
• Flexible with scheduling as needed
• Able to provide strong references and pass a background check

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• $35 per hour
