Housekeeper/Cook – Miami, FL

Overview

A warm and welcoming family of four in Miami is seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cook to support their busy household, which includes two children ages 5 and 7. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys preparing “family-style” meals, takes pride in maintaining an organized home, and is comfortable around dogs. The family offers an independent, non-micromanaged environment for someone who can take full ownership of their responsibilities.

This is a live-in position, with a schedule to be finalized but expected to be Monday through Friday, approximately 50 hours per week (10-hour days). The role is set to begin in early July.

Responsibilities

• Perform full housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and maintaining overall home organization
• Manage laundry, ironing, and coordination of dry cleaning drop-offs and pickups
• Prepare healthy daily meals following provided recipes
• Assist with breakfast preparation, school bags, and packed lunches
• Handle grocery shopping (in-person or online) and maintain a fully stocked pantry
• Provide light pet care, including feeding and walking a friendly Toy Poodle as needed
• Monitor household inventory and ensure the home runs smoothly

Qualifications

• Driving is not required but considered a plus

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Proven experience in a similar long-term household role
• Fluent Spanish strongly preferred (to support bilingual children); additional language skills are a bonus
• Kind, dependable, and able to work independently

Compensation and Benefits

• $45+ per hour, depending on experience
• 10 days of paid time off
