  • Approximately 20 full-day shifts per year (school closures): 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Consistent schedule preferred, with some flexibility as needed
  • Two consecutive days off (to be determined)

Responsibilities

  • Pick up children from daycare and transport them home safely
  • Prepare meals and bottles for the children
  • Assist with bath time and evening routines
  • Provide attentive, hands-on care, often supporting one child at a time while a parent is present
  • Engage the children in age-appropriate, creative, and educational activities
  • Support toddler development and manage transitions or challenging behaviors with a calm, gentle approach
  • Accompany the family on weekend outings such as park visits, swim lessons, or events
  • Maintain organization of children’s spaces, including tidying, laundry, and light child-related household tasks
  • Follow established routines, dietary guidelines, and family preferences

  • Experience supporting speech or occupational therapy goals
  • Proactive and prepared with activities and ideas
  • Warm, engaging, and able to build strong connections with children
  • Respectful of cultural, religious, and dietary practices
  • Flexible and team-oriented

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Experience caring for both infants and toddlers
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to a personal vehicle
  • Comfortable driving children (car seats provided; mileage reimbursed)
  • Strong swimming ability (home has a pool; supervision required)
  • Comfortable supporting emotional development and behavioral regulation
  • Professional, reliable, and highly organized
  • Able to pass background and drug screening
