Full-Time Housekeeper – Manhattan/Hamptons/Travel

Overview

A warm and welcoming family is seeking a professional, experienced Housekeeper to join their household team in a full-time, long-term role. The position supports a well-maintained residence in New York and includes regular travel to the Hamptons, along with occasional trips to Colorado. The ideal candidate is calm, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and peaceful home environment.

Schedule

• Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Flexibility required for extended hours during entertaining or special occasions
• Days off: Sunday and Monday
• Immediate start preferred
• Travel required between New York, the Hamptons, and occasionally Colorado

Responsibilities

• Perform full-charge housekeeping, including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and organization
• Provide expert care for fine garments and household textiles
• Maintain overall cleanliness and order throughout the home to a high standard
• Handle grocery shopping and household provisioning
• Assist in the kitchen as needed, including light preparation and organization
• Support the household during events and entertaining, with flexibility for extended hours
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a positive and efficient team environment

• Team-oriented with a flexible, “all hands-on deck” approach
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs
• Fluent in English

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role within a private household
• Strong knowledge of fabric care and garment maintenance
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and presentation at all times
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Compensation and Benefits

• $35–$45 per hour ($73,000–$94,000 annually), depending on experience
• Live-in option available for the right candidate
