The ideal candidate will offer a calm, reassuring presence while helping establish feeding and sleep routines, and sharing knowledge around early development in a supportive, approachable way.

The schedule will be three days per week for 5-hour shifts, typically in the afternoon (approximately 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM). The family is flexible on specific days and is looking for someone available as soon as possible through the end of July.

  • Remain fully present and engaged during working hours (no personal phone use)

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience caring for newborns and infants
  • Strong understanding of infant development and sleep foundations
  • Comfortable guiding and supporting new parents in a gentle, non-overwhelming manner
  • Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certified
  • Calm, steady, and emotionally intuitive demeanor
  • Proactive, hands-on, and naturally supportive
  • Genuine interest in working with infants and families in the newborn stage

Requirements

  • Up-to-date vaccinations (including Tdap, COVID, and flu)
  • Availability for part-time daytime hours without overlapping overnight commitments
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Able to provide strong references and pass a background check
  • Authorized to work in the United States
