Weekend Nanny – Greenwich Village

Overview

A warm family of four in Greenwich Village is seeking an experienced, live-out weekend nanny to support the care of their 7-year-old daughter. While the family also has an infant, that child has a dedicated nanny, and this role will not involve infant care. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, as the child has been diagnosed with ADHD and Autism and benefits from support with social skills and executive functioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, patient, and nurturing care, including managing meals, rest, and hygiene routines
• Engage the child in fun, age-appropriate, and developmentally supportive activities and play within the home
• Plan and organize outings in advance
• Maintain and reinforce structured systems and routines that support independence

Qualifications

• Patient, flexible, and able to adapt to changing needs
• Strong team player who works well within a household environment
• Warm, engaging, and skilled at building meaningful connections with children

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Available to work Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
• Prior experience working with children with ADHD and Autism

Compensation and Benefits

• $40–$50 per hour or higher, depending on experience
