Temporary Full-Time Nanny – Greenwich, CT

Overview

A private family based in Greenwich, CT is looking for a temporary nanny to support their household for a two-week assignment. The role involves caring for two children, ages 4 and 5. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The position may be either live-in or live-out. For a live-in arrangement, a private bedroom and bathroom will be provided. The role is expected to begin as soon as possible, starting the week of April 13th.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, hands-on care and supervision for the children
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate play and educational activities
• Assist with morning routines, including dressing and breakfast, as well as evening wind-down routines
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment
• Keep children’s spaces tidy, including play areas and bedrooms
• Prepare simple and nutritious meals for the children as needed
• Accompany children to local outings or scheduled activities

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Prior experience caring for children in this age range
• Energetic, dependable, patient, and nurturing approach
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Swimming ability is a plus but not required
• Strong, verifiable references required

Compensation and Benefits

• $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience
