Family Assistant, Nanny, Weekend

A family of three on the Upper West Side is seeking a Weekend Nanny/Family Assistant to support the care of their child and assist with overall household organization.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining the child’s bedroom, clothing, and supplies, planning and engaging in stimulating, educational, and age-appropriate activities, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, and accompanying the child to scheduled activities as needed.

In addition to childcare, the role involves a range of family assistant duties such as organizing and cleaning drawers, refreshing closets, managing seasonal wardrobe changeovers, handling shopping, and completing household errands.

The position also includes travel with the family one weekend per month, during which two teenagers will require some assistance, as well as additional travel opportunities throughout the year. Candidates should be comfortable traveling and providing consistent support both at home and while away.

The regular schedule is Friday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Flexibility is required, including the ability to travel and live in one weekend per month.

Compensation is $45 per hour. Immediate start.
