Family Assistant, Nanny, Weekend

A private family based on the Upper West Side is seeking an experienced Weekend Nanny/Family Assistant for a long-term position caring for their toddler. The household offers a warm, creative environment while maintaining the expectations and organization of a formal home.

This role involves comprehensive childcare responsibilities, including providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care and planning engaging activities that support the child’s growth. The nanny will prepare nutritious meals and snacks, keep the child’s bedroom and belongings organized, and manage daily routines. Additional duties include accompanying the child to scheduled activities, assisting with light pet care, and supporting the household with errands, shopping, and general organization.

The ideal candidate is polished, dependable, and highly experienced, particularly within high-profile or private home settings. Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into an established household are essential.

The family travels to Washington, DC one weekend each month and spends time in Florida seasonally. Candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly and serving as a consistent support both at home and while on the road.

The standard schedule is Friday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Flexibility is required for one live-in travel weekend per month.

Compensation is $45 per hour. Immediate start.
