A welcoming family in Cambridge, MA is seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Family Assistant/Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day operations of their household. Responsibilities include general home upkeep and organization, running errands, grocery shopping, preparing simple meals using provided recipes, managing laundry, and maintaining household organization. Additional duties include keeping inventory of household supplies and restocking as needed and assisting with transporting the family’s two dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Beagle) to and from the groomer 1x/month. The family employs weekly house cleaners, so no deep cleaning is required.
The role is best suited for a self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicates clearly and professionally in English. Driving is required, and parking is available at the home. The family is seeking someone interested in a long-term, trusted role.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a Family Assistant or House Manager, a clean criminal record and a good driving record.
Pets: 2 dogs; Golden Retriever and Beagle
