Position Summary:

A NY-based executive couple (Bedford area) have created a new role to support their chef and gracious hospitality. The ideal candidate could be a trained butler, high-level aide de camp, or a career waiter in fine hotels, resorts, or yachting.

The key responsibilities of this role include serving, table setting, bartending, simple meal prep 1 or 2 days per week when chef is off (generally assembling chef prepared food). There will be travel to the family’s other homes and serving on the plane.

You embrace impeccable, invisible service. You have a culinary aptitude. You want a reasonable schedule.

Ideally you will start now or after the first of the year.

Schedule: Generally, this is a very consistent 5-day per week schedule, and you will be home early when in the New York area. Expect travel to be 50% of the role.

Compensation: Compensation range is $150,000 to $190,000 plus a generous year-end performance-based bonus. We are willing to consider truly exceptional candidates outside of this range.
