Position Overview
A private family is seeking an experienced and hands-on Property Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and preservation of a historic double townhouse in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent vendor management skills, and a deep understanding of property systems and smart home technologies.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing contractors, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the property is impeccably maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all property maintenance, repairs, and daily operations
- Manage and coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Monitor building systems and smart home technology for efficiency and functionality
- Perform hands-on repairs and basic handyman tasks as needed
- Ensure property security and upkeep of all mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain household supplies and maintenance logs
- Provide support during family visits or events
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing high-end residential properties
- Strong knowledge of smart home systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Hands-on, proactive, and highly organized
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and vendors efficiently
- Flexible schedule with a 24/7 service mentality
- Valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization required
