Private Family in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania Seeking a Full-Time Nanny

Position: Full-Time Live-Out Nanny

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (45 hours guaranteed)

Salary: $30–$32 per hour, depending on experience

Start Date: January 5

Relocation: No – local candidates preferred
 

About the Family

A warm, active household of five, located in Wynnewood, PA, is seeking a dedicated and nurturing full-time nanny to join their bustling home. Both parents work from home, and the environment is lively, energetic, and fast-paced. The family values a nanny who can match their rhythm while bringing calm structure, emotional attunement, and clear communication into daily routines.

Children:

• Two school-aged children who attend a school less than five minutes away

• One toddler turning one in January, who has multiple food allergies (egg, peanut, tuna, and others). The nanny must be comfortable managing allergies and either trained or willing to be trained to use an EpiPen.

Pets: One friendly family dog.

Responsibilities

Childcare & Engagement

• Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally supportive care for three children.

• Handle school drop-offs and pickups for the older children.

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate outings and activities such as playground visits, library trips, and local events.

• Support emotional regulation and guide big feelings using calm, respectful communication.

• Follow established routines for meals, naps, allergies, and daily schedules.

Household Support (Child-Related)

• Complete children’s laundry weekly.

• Maintain tidy play areas; conduct monthly playroom resets, toy rotations, and general organization.

• Manage seasonal clothing rotation and coordinate the donation of outgrown items.

• Run light errands as needed, such as picking up groceries.

• Assist with occasional meal prep or dinner support for the children.

• Use scent-free lotions, perfumes, and products due to the toddler’s sensitivities.

• Drive the children using the family car (or another vehicle if a larger outing requires it).

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

• 45 hours per week guaranteed

• Additional evening hours available for date nights if desired

• Full-day care is required for all three children when school is closed, kids are sick, etc. 

Travel

• The family would love their nanny to accompany them on occasional family trips, approximately 1–2 times per year, each lasting about one week. 

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$32 per hour

• Guaranteed 45 hours per week

• Two weeks of paid vacation (one chosen by the family and one by the nanny)

• Five paid sick days

• Paid major holidays

Ideal Candidate & Personality

The ideal nanny is warm, patient, confident, and excited to partner with the parents in fostering a loving, structured environment. They should be:

• Organized, reliable, and comfortable engaging in a lively, fast-paced household.

• This is a live-out position.

Requirements

• Prior professional nanny experience in a private household

• Excellent references

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Comfortable with a family dog

• Willing to travel occasionally as needed
