Housekeeper/Cook – Dallas, TX

A lovely family based in Irving, TX is looking for a full-time housekeeper/cook. The position can be live-in, or live-out. The general schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week guaranteed. The family has a young toddler so the candidate must be comfortable around children.

Housekeeping

• Standard housekeeping duties, responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash
• Conduct deep cleaning: scrubbing showers/toilets, cleaning window ledges, removing cobwebs, and maintaining overall hygiene standards
• Organize and maintain closets, pantries, and storage spaces; perform seasonal clean-ups
• Laundry, ironing, and garment care

Cooking

• Prepare healthy, simple meals
• Maintain fridge cleanliness and food freshness
• Wash dishes, order groceries, unpack and organize kitchen items, simple food prep with fresh produce

• Detail oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Prior full-time private household experience
• Reliable, flexible
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable around young children
• Strong cooking skills
• Team player
• Legal to work in the US

• $30-$35/hr, depending on experience
• 2 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, holidays
