Private Family in Rockville Seeking a Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper

Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm with a one-hour break
Salary: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP 
Relocation: No – local candidates only

About the Family

A warm and welcoming private family located in Rockville, MD is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, organization, and someone who will become a long-term fit and trusted part of the family team. The home is conveniently located near public transportation.

Children: Two teenagers
Pets: One small 10 lb. dog

Responsibilities

• Full-charge housekeeping and daily household upkeep
• Laundry care, including washing, folding, ironing, and wardrobe maintenance
• Coordinate dry cleaning pick-up and drop-off
• Prepare the home for visiting guests and ensure guest-ready spaces
• Light cooking and kitchen assistance
• Prepare light after-school snacks for the children
• Assist with kitchen prep work, including washing and preparing fruits and vegetables
• Morning kitchen and household clean-up
• Put away groceries and maintain pantry/kitchen organization
• Maintain household organization and help streamline the family’s daily life
• Comfortable working around a small family dog
